I'm Katy - and this is why I do this work.

For over a decade I worked in financial services - high pace, high pressure, always on. I was good at it. But somewhere along the way I lost the thread back to myself.

I didn't come to this work because it made sense on paper. I came to it because I needed it.

There was a period where I felt stuck, overwhelmed, and deeply disconnected from myself - going through the motions but unable to find my way back. Talking helped, but only so far. What actually shifted things was learning to work with my body, not just my mind.

That's what Make Soul Space grew out of. A genuine belief that healing doesn't have to be clinical, forceful, or rushed - and that most of us are more capable of finding our own ground than we've been led to think.

In 2026 I left corporate life to do this work full time. Not as a side project. As the thing.

Who this space is for

The people I work with often describe feeling like they've tried everything - therapy, self-help, staying busy - but something still feels unresolved. They're not in crisis. They're just quietly exhausted, and ready for something slower and more honest.

They might be navigating anxiety, burnout, emotional fatigue, or a sense of being disconnected from themselves. Some have been carrying something for years without quite knowing what to do with it.

If any of that resonates, you're in the right place. There's no expectation to fix yourself quickly, explain yourself fully, or arrive with answers.

Some are professionals who appear to have everything together. Others are simply tired of feeling like something is missing and not knowing what to do about it.

How I work

Every session is shaped around how you arrive on the day - not a fixed agenda or a predetermined outcome. I draw from Reiki, Qigong, breathwork, somatic release, therapeutic yoga and guided meditation, combining them intuitively based on what feels most useful for you in that moment.

For those ready to work with something more specific - a pattern, a grief, an emotional weight that keeps returning - I also offer Deep Somatic Release sessions, which combine Qigong, somatic techniques and eye spotting to help the body process and let go of what it's been holding.

All of my work is held with a trauma-aware, consent-led approach. Nothing is rushed. Touch is always minimal and can be adapted or avoided entirely. You remain in control throughout.

This isn't about being fixed. It's about being met - exactly as you are.

Each session is shaped around what you need that day, drawing from Reiki, Qigong, breathwork, somatic release and therapeutic yoga. For something more focused, Deep Somatic Release sessions are available for those ready to work with something specific.

  • Group Qigong and yoga at Salt Studios - gentle, grounding group sessions every Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday in Richmond. A welcoming space to move, breathe and reset alongside others.

  • Guided journals - The Make Soul Space Healing Journal, a self-led nervous system and somatic journal available to download at £27. A gentle place to begin from wherever you are.

Whether you're looking for hands-on support, a group practice to return to weekly, or a quieter place to begin - there's an entry point that fits.

If you're not sure where to start, a free 15-minute discovery call is a good first step. There's no pressure and no commitment - just a conversation to see if working together feels right.

Whenever you're ready. There's no rush.
