Not all of what we carry comes from a difficult childhood. Some of it comes from a beautiful one.
When you love your parents deeply - when they've given you so much - you learn, without anyone telling you to, to keep them happy. To keep the peace. To make yourself a little smaller so the room stays calm. To scan for shifts in someone's mood and automatically wonder if it was something you did.
That's not damage. That's devotion. But over time, those patterns quietly shape the way you move through the world. The overgiving. The people pleasing. The low hum of anxiety when someone goes quiet. The exhaustion of always being the one who holds it together.
And then there's grief. Which has a way of settling somewhere deep in the body when life doesn't give us the space to fully feel it.
None of this means something is wrong with you. It means you're human. And it means your body has been working incredibly hard.
This session is an invitation to finally let it put some of that down.
What to expect
Every session begins with conversation - unhurried, without agenda. We'll talk about what's present for you right now. What you'd like to process, or simply how you're feeling in this moment. You don't need to arrive with answers. Curiosity is enough.
From there, we move gently into the body. Using a blend of Qigong, somatic release techniques - including movement, tapping and eye spotting - and guided breathwork where it's needed, we work with what your body is ready to let go of. Not forcing. Not fixing. Simply creating the conditions for release to happen naturally.
We close with a grounding meditation - something soft and restorative - to bring you back to yourself feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected than when you arrived.

A note from me
I came to this work through my own experience of loss - and through recognising, slowly, the patterns I'd built around keeping everyone else okay. I know what it is to smile through something. To be fine on the surface while something quieter is asking to be felt.
That's why holding this space matters so much to me. You will not be pushed. You will not be pathologised. You will simply be met - exactly as you are.
